SPRING 2026 REGISTRATION INFORMATION
DPLL Registration for the Spring 2025 season will be open from December 1, 2025, through January 26,2026. We are offering an early bird discount if registered by December 31st. Our Spring District 7 season is scheduled to run from March through May.
Registration Fees
Spring Registration includes - jersey, pants, hat, socks, and belt (for belted pants). Majors and Juniors Baseball will need to supply grey baseball pants of their choosing for the season.

$135 - After 12/31
*Multi-Player discounts are available. Siblings will receive an additional $5.00 off.
Document Verifications
New players (anyone that have not played DPLL for a Spring season): Please come to one of the In-Person registrations or document verifications to provide required documentation: (Times / Dates for In-Person Registration to be announced)
1. Player's original birth certificate (we will verify only, must be original, no copies are kept or needed)
2. Signed school enrollment form (Click HERE for form) OR three documents proving residency (Click HERE for document requirements)
Player Eligibility
Players should live or go to school in our boundary, which covers all of Newport News on the Jefferson side of the railroad tracks that run down the middle of the city. However, new last year from Little League, players league ages 4-7 may choose to play in any league they choose; if a player participates in a league for which he/she is technically not in the boundary (school/home), he/she must continue to play at that league each spring thereafter or lose the eligibility to play for that leagues.
Three proofs of residency, as detailed below, can be submitted when you register for the spring season OR a school enrollment form signed by the administration at the school he/she attends. Note: the school enrollment form is the easiest way if your school is in our boundaries.
Residence shall be established and supported by documents containing the full residence which includes parent(s) or guardian(s) name, street address, city, state and zip code information, dated or in force between February 1 of the previous year (2025) and February 1 of the current year (2026), from one or more documents from EACH of the three Groups outlined below:

· Vehicle Records (i.e., Registration, Lease, etc.)
· Employment Records
· Insurance Documents
Group II
· Welfare/Child Care Records
· Federal Records (i.e., Federal Tax, Social Security, etc.)
· State Records
· Local (Municipal) Records
· Support Payment Records
· Homeowner or Tenant Records
· Military Records
Group III
· Voter’s Registration
· Utility Bills (i.e., Gas, Electric, Water/Sewer, Phone, Heating, Waste Disposal)
· Financial Records
· Medical Records
· Internet, Cable, or Satellite Records

League Age & Divisions
Baseball: your child's little league age is based on their age as of August 31, 2026.
Softball: your child's little league age is based on their age as of December 31, 2025.

Practice and Game Schedules
Practices will start in Late February or early March depending on weather. Teams time and days for practice depend on the Managers (Head Coach) availability along with field availability.
Try Outs
ALL registered players baseball and softball, Coach Pitch and up will need to attended tryouts in February. Tryouts will be held at the Warwick High School Gym. Information will be sent out with the date and times.
***Tee-Ball can come anytime for uniform fitting***

***Tee-Ball does not need to attend unless they are league age 6 and wish to possibly move up. ***
Opening Day Ceremony:
Opening Day Ceremonies are scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2026. Hope to see you there!!!
